Schedule:
  • 7:30 a.m. Continental Breakfast
  • 8:00 a.m. Sessions followed by 10:05 a.m. Sessions 
  • 12:00 p.m. to 12:55 p.m. Lunch
  • At 1:00 p.m. all staff will meet in their Job Alike for vertical and horizontal curriculum discussions or pre-determined topics.

Science notebooks are a great way to incorporate inquiry and literacy into science and engineering.  Participants in this session will explore the use of science notebooks in helping students express their thinking, synthesize science ideas, and communicate their work with the science and engineering practices. The session is open to both current users of science notebooks and those who wish to implement them as a regular part of the science and engineering classroom.
Teachers in grades K-5 are the target audience.  However, teachers from other grade levels are welcome.
