Location: Luther Burbank and Mary Rowlandson, Hollywood Drive, Lancaster, MA

  • 7:30 a.m. Continental Breakfast
  • 8:00 a.m. Sessions followed by 10:05 a.m. Sessions 
  • 12:00 p.m. to 12:55 p.m. Lunch
  • At 1:00 p.m. all staff will meet in their Job Alike for vertical and horizontal curriculum discussions or pre-determined topics.

This training is appropriate for Kindergarten and Preschool Teachers, Assistants, and support staff, with various levels of knowledge of a tiered behavioral framework. Educators will learn strategies and take home tools for preventing challenging behaviors and teaching social and emotional skills. This model supports the Massachusetts State Standards for Social and Emotional Learning, and Approaches to Play and Learning for Preschool and Kindergarten. This session runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with an hour lunch break from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
