  • 7:30 a.m. Continental Breakfast
  • 8:00 a.m. Sessions followed by 10:05 a.m. Sessions 
  • 12:00 p.m. to 12:55 p.m. Lunch
  • At 1:00 p.m. all staff will meet in their Job Alike for vertical and horizontal curriculum discussions or pre-determined topics.

The Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate is dedicated to educating the public about the important role of the Senate in our government, encouraging participatory democracy, invigorating civil discourse, and inspiring the next generation of citizens and leaders to engage in the civic life of their communities. The EMK Institute has abundant resources including interactive exhibits and public programs Public Programs. On March 10th, there is an opportunity to observe in a 2.5 hour Senate Immersion Module (SIM) using technology and a hands-on approach to learn about representation and the legislative process.
